Organisation > Customise tab explained

The Customise tab in your Organisation settings is where you control the default appearance and behaviour of itineraries across your organisation. It has been organised so that sharing, export, and pricing display settings each have their own clearly labelled section.

What's on the Customise tab

When you go to Organisation → Customise, you'll see the Itinerary defaults panel. This is divided into two parts:

  1. Brands - Add and view your different itinerary brands.
  2. Itinerary defaults - inline controls at the top, and settings sections below that each open their own dialog.

Brands

For customers who sell itineraries via different brands you can setup and configure design elements to manage the branding of your itinerary publishing and booking emails.

Itinerary defaults

Inline controls

These settings are visible and editable directly on the page without opening a dialog:
  1. Maps – Choose whether maps are shown or hidden on itineraries by default.
  2. Icons – Choose whether category icons are shown or hidden by default.
  3. Display language – The language used in the itinerary interface.
  4. Description language – The language used for item descriptions.
  5. Comments – Enable or disable commenting on itineraries.
  6. Pricing calculation – Set whether pricing is calculated as net, markup, or both.

Settings sections

These three sections each have an Edit (pencil) icon. Clicking it opens a dialog where you can review and save your preferences.

Section What it controls
Public/private sharing settings Default visibility toggles applied when sharing an itinerary via a public or private link
Export settings Default visibility toggles applied when exporting an itinerary to PDF or Word
Itinerary summary export settings Set defaults that will be applied for new itineraries when using the export itinerary summary function
Pricing display options How pricing is displayed on itinerary previews and exports

How defaults work

These settings apply to new itineraries created after you save them. Existing itineraries retain their own settings, which can be adjusted individually in the share or export dialog.
