Refreshing services in your itinerary

In Tourwriter, any changes you make to a supplier or product record (such as edits to the description or images) do not automatically show in any existing itineraries where these services had already been added prior to the edits being made.

Refresh all items

To re-fetch all services in an itinerary with any updated version of the supplier/product information, you can use the Refresh all items feature. 

Note: Refresh all items is only available on the Postcard template
  1. In an Itinerary navigate to the Preview tab
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Outline panel to view the Refresh all items button
  3. Click Refresh all items
  4. The Refresh all publishing content dialog will open with Refresh all items checkbox selected
  5. Deselect a field you do not want to refresh or deselect Refresh all fields and select only the fields you want to refresh
  6. Once selected, any changes to the supplier and/or product that has been made since you first added the service to your itinerary will be re-fetched and shown on your itinerary.
  7. Click Refresh to action the refresh
Note: refreshing the items will only apply to the specific itinerary you are refreshing not all itineraries

Refresh service

To re-fetch an update for a single service, you can use the Refresh service feature.

Note: Refresh all is only available on the Postcard template
  1. Navigate to the Proposal view of your itinerary
  2. Scroll to the item you wish to refresh and click the ... More to view the option list
  3. Select the Refresh service option
  4. The Refresh publishing content for this service dialog will open - by default Refresh all fields will be selected
  5. Deselect a field you do not want to refresh or deselect Refresh all fields and select only the fields you want to refresh
  6. Once selected, any changes to the supplier and/or product that has been made since you first added the service to your itinerary will be re-fetched and shown on your itinerary.
  7. Click Refresh to action the refresh
