Edit preview content

In Tourwriter, you can edit preview content to ensure the traveller facing itinerary is customised to your specific requirements. This enables the same supplier and product content to be different from that stored in your database when necessary.

Note: Any edits made on the Preview page do not update any details on other Itinerary tabs or on Supplier tabs.

Edit fields available

The below fields are editable fields available in the Edit preview content dialog
  1. Title * required
  2. Product name
  3. Option name
  4. Phone
  5. Description
  6. Image
Note: All fields except Title can be left blank. 

How to edit preview content

  1. On an itinerary Preview tab navigate to a Postcard (display content for a bookable item)
  2. Click the ... More 
  3. Select Edit preview content option to open the Edit dialog for the postcard
  4. Click into a field to delete or over type content
  5. Click Save to save the edits and close the dialog
Note: When the Edit dialog opens all fields and panels will be editable and edits can not be reversed. 

Refresh names from the Build

After editing either of Product name or Option name you can refresh the original name.
  1. Delete all characters from the field you wish to refresh
  2. The Refresh icon will appear in the field
  3. Click the Refresh button
  4. The original name will populate the field
  5. Click Save to save the edits
