What is the difference between postcard and final template?

There are two different Itinerary template views that you can send to your customers at any stage of your sales process, depending on your design preference and the level of detail you wish to provide the traveller with. These are called Postcard and Final. The Final template displays more detail than the Postcard template whilst the Postcard template has seven different postcard layout options for each Product.

You can preview an itinerary via the Itinerary>Preview tab.

The itinerary will display as Postcard itinerary template by default. To change the itinerary template to Final navigate to the Itinerary>Setup tab and select Final from the Itinerary template drop down. Navigate back to the Preview tab and the itinerary will now display using Final display settings.

Note: Older itineraries might have access to a third template called Old postcard. This template is an older, discontinued version of Tourwriter and doesnt have the change layout functionality.

More information on the Postcard template can be found here.

More information on the Final template can be found here.
