What happens when an itinerary becomes inactive?

An inactive itinerary can not be edited by a User and travellers or anyone outside of your Tourwriter organisation attempting to access a shared itinerary will see a generic message letting them know that the itinerary is no longer available.

When viewing the Itineraries list, any inactive itinerary will be greyed out and a tooltip message will inform the user that this itinerary is inactive when attempting to access the itinerary.

When itinerarires become inactive

An itinerary automatically becomes inactive if:
  1. the itinerary Start date is on or after todays date and
  2. the Confirm checkbox is not selected

To activate an itinerary

To regain access to an inactive itinerary:
  1. Navigate to the Itineraries tab and search for the itinerary
  2. Tick ‘Confirm’ on an inactive itinerary to regain full access.
Note: Confirming an inactive itinerary will also reactivate any pre saved share  links.
