Using the Own arrangements booking status

Using the Own arrangements booking status

InfoGive travellers a complete picture of their trip without inflating your costs. The Own arrangements status lets you include self-managed activities on any itinerary

What Own arrangements does

Items marked as Own arrangements appear in the day-by-day itinerary view so travellers can see them in their schedule, but they are excluded from inclusions lists and do not contribute to pricing. They display with a dashed border and a question mark icon to distinguish them from booked services.

How to mark an item as Own arrangements

  1. Go to the Build tab on your itinerary.
  2. Add or select the item you want to mark.
  3. Click the More icon (...) next to the option.
  4. Select Mark as own arrangements.
  5. Save your changes.

You can also assign this status from the Bookings tab.

NotesNote: You cannot mark an item as Own arrangements if it already has an active booking status, such as Requested or Confirmed. Reset the booking status on the Bookings tab first, then apply the Own arrangements status.

How Own arrangements items appear to travellers

These items appear in the day-by-day view and within the relevant detail sections of the itinerary. They are excluded from the inclusions list but appear in a dedicated Optional section, which can display item details and pricing if you choose to show it.

How to remove the Own arrangements status

  1. Select the item.
  2. Click the More icon (...).
  3. Choose Unmark as own arrangements.

Pricing calculations will resume for that item once the status is removed.

The Mark as own arrangements option is greyed out

If the option appears disabled, the item has an active booking status. Go to the Bookings tab and reset or cancel the booking status before trying again.
