Pricing Notes for Price Adjustments

Pricing Notes for Price Adjustments

InfoPricing notes let you record the reason for a price adjustment directly against a booking. Notes are visible from the Pricing tab and the Price History log, can be shown to travellers in exported documents, and sync to Zoho for reporting purposes.

Adding a pricing note

Pricing notes are added from the Edit item price dialog.

  1. On the Pricing tab, open the Edit item price dialog for the booking you want to annotate.
  2. Scroll to the Pricing notes section at the bottom of the dialog.
  3. Enter your note in the text field. Notes are limited to 255 characters.
  4. If you want the note to be visible to travellers, tick the Show pricing note checkbox.
  5. Click Save.

The note is saved to the Price History log as part of the audit trail.

Viewing notes on the Pricing tab

Once saved, an icon appears next to the booking's price on the Pricing tab. Hover over the icon to read the note without opening the edit dialog.

Traveller-facing visibility

When the Show pricing note checkbox is ticked, the note appears in traveller-facing documents within the Inclusions and Optionals sections. It will be visible in:

  • Public and private share links
  • PDF exports
  • Docx exports
  • Google Docs output
  • Itinerary Summary PDFs

If the checkbox is left unticked, the note remains internal and is not shown to travellers.

Zoho reporting

Pricing notes sync to Zoho automatically. The pricing_notes field appears as a column in the MinimPurchaseItemDetail table, making notes available for external reporting and auditing.
