How to add an image as an attachment

InfoAttachments let you share supporting documents with travellers directly from an itinerary, so items like train tickets, maps, and vouchers are always close to hand.

Travellers access attachments as clickable links on a live itinerary, and attachments are included automatically when exported to PDF.

How to add an attachment

  1. Open the itinerary and go to the Preview tab.
  2. Find the item or resource you want to attach a file to.
  3. Click the pencil (edit) icon on the item to open the edit dialog.
  4. Scroll down to the Attachment panel and click its pencil icon.
  5. Upload a new image file or select an existing one.
  6. Enter an Attachment title — this appears as a heading in both the Preview and the PDF export.
  7. Click Save.

How do travellers access the attachment?

In the Preview view, the attachment appears as a clickable link on the item postcard. Clicking the link opens the file in a new browser tab.

When the itinerary is exported to PDF, the attachment is included on its own dedicated page within the document.

What file formats are supported?

JPEG is the recommended format. If your file is not a JPEG — for example, a PNG or a scanned document — take a screenshot of it and save that screenshot as a JPEG before uploading.
