How do I structure my suppliers, products and rates?
The structure for the suppliers follow a layered approach as below.
Supplier > Product > Option > Rate Periods
Supplier = the company/organisation
Product = the service they sell
Option = how the services are sold
This is a fixed three-layer structure, but it offers a lot of flexibility. You can have as many Products and Options as you want, but you must have at least one of each.
Examples:
Hotel A > Standard Room or Junior Suite or Deluxe Suite > Single or Double
VIP cars > Airport pick-up or Airport drop-off > 5 seater or 7 seater
UK Tours > 4-hour walking tour > Adult or Child
If the Supplier's rates are dynamic you do not need to create rate periods.
