Editing the Description on an Itinerary

Give every itinerary a personal touch. Editing a service description on the Preview page lets you customise the text seen by travellers without changing your supplier records.

Description are pulled from two places: the Supplier record and the Product record. If you have describtions at both levels, both will pull through to the itinerary.

These descriptions can be edited at an itinerary level allowing you to make custom edits and add a personal touch.

How to edit a description

1. Open the itinerary and go to the Preview page.
2. Find the item/service.
3. Click the pencil icon.
4. Update the description text as needed.
5. Click Save.

You can format text using bold, italic, underline, hyperlinks, numbered lists, and bulleted lists.

How do I edit a description in another language?

If your itinerary supports multiple languages, click the drop-down button on the right side of the editor to switch between language versions. Each version is edited and saved separately.

You can restore original descriptions or pull through changes made in your supplier database by refreshing items or the whole itinerary. Please see refreshing services in your itinerary.
