The Edit agent total pricing dialog
The Edit Agent Total pricing dialog allows a User to easily override and fix either the Agent price or the Agent Commission %. This feature is helpful if you want to set a fixed Agency commission % or a fixed Agent price regardless of the itemized price changes in the Itinerary.
Open the Edit agent total price dialog
In an itinerary, you manage the Agent price setting on the Pricing tab
- Scroll down to the Display price row.
- Click the …More to open the option menu.
- Select the Edit agent total pricing option.
Once you are in the dialog there are 3 options to choose from: Dynamic, Fixed commission and Fixed price. By default, Dynamic will be selected.
To override the dynamic calculation you can select either the Fixed commission or Fixed price options.
Agent price settings explained
Dynamic
In dynamic mode the Total agent price automatically populates the Display agent price. The Display agent commission will be calculated using the Display agent price and Display price value.
Fixed commission
A fixed Agent commission can be set by the user and the Agent price will be calculated using the Display Gross and the fixed Agent commission %. The Agent commission set in this dialog will become the Display Agent Commission on the Display price row of the Pricing page and will not adjust unless manually edited.
Fixed price
A fixed Agent price can be set by the User and the Agent commission will be calculated using the Display gross and the Agent price. The Agent price set in this dialog will become the Display Agent price on the Display price row of the Pricing page and will not adjust unless manually edited.
Note: Selecting the Dynamic option after editing a Fixed price or commission will revert the display pricing back to Dynamic mode, deleting any previously Fixed price or commission.
