The display price is the price your traveller sees when you share an itinerary online or export it to PDF. Setting a fixed display price prevents that number from changing as you add or adjust services in the background, giving you full control over what the client sees.

Accessing the display price settings

1. Open the itinerary and go to the Pricing tab.
2. Scroll to the Display price row.
3. Click ... More.
4. Select Edit display price.
   
   

Display price modes

There are three modes to choose from.

Dynamic

The default setting for all itineraries. The display price updates automatically whenever the itinerary total changes — for example, when you add or remove a service. No manual input is needed.

Note: If you switch back to Dynamic after using a fixed mode, any prices you entered manually will be deleted and the actual itinerary totals will be restored.

Fixed with dynamic net

The net price updates automatically, but the gross price, markup, and commission remain fixed at the values you set. Use this when your costs may change but the price you show the traveller should stay constant. The calculation options for this mode are:

Net and Gross — Edit either the net or the gross; the other values calculate automatically.

Net and Markup — Edit either the net or the markup; the other values calculate automatically.

Net and Commission — Edit either the net or the commission; the other values calculate automatically.

Fixed

All display price values stay constant regardless of any changes to the itinerary total. This mode gives you the most control over what the traveller sees. The calculation options for this mode are:

Net and Gross — Edit either the net or the gross; the other values calculate automatically.

Net and Markup — Edit either the net or the markup; the other values calculate automatically.

Net and Commission — Edit either the net or the commission; the other values calculate automatically.

Gross and Commission — Edit either the gross or the commission; the net, markup, and margin calculate automatically.

Gross and Markup — Edit either the gross or the markup; the net, margin, and commission calculate automatically.

Pricing warnings

If the display price falls below the total itinerary price, a warning will appear. The warning clears automatically once the display price meets or exceeds the total.

When a display price is set, the per-traveller price calculation also uses this amount rather than the itinerary total.
