Display price

Display price

The Display price function allows a User to easily override and Fix a display price which is visible to the traveller when sharing an itinerary or exporting to PDF. The Display price feature is useful to ensure the traveler price does not dynamically change during itinerary changes. The manually added Display price overrides the Total price on shared online itineraries and the PDF Itinerary export and only changes when edited by a User.

If a display price is entered, then the Price per traveller uses Display price to calculate Traveller price.

Dynamic and Fixed mode pricing

As Items are added to an itinerary, the Display price is dynamically populated by Total price changes. To override the dynamic calculation you can set the display mode to Fixed in the Edit total price dialog

Dynamic  - The total is a dynamic calculation of all the individual item lines
Fixed  - The total is a manual override fixed by the User

How to edit the Display price in Fixed mode

  1. On the Pricing tab scroll down to Display price line, click the 3 dots on the right and select, Edit display pricing.  Note: The display price toggle will be set to Dynamic and the Total values will match the Display values.
  2. Click the toggle to enable Fixed mode.   Note: In Fixed mode the User can adjust either of the Net, Markup or Gross fields.
  3. After adjusting your Display price click Save. The updated Display price will now be saved and visible on the Pricing tab and on Traveller documents
Note: Clicking the Fixed toggle will revert the display pricing back to Dynamic mode, deleting any previously Fixed prices.

Note: When the Display price is lower than the Total price a warning displays. This warning will disappear when the Display price matches or is greater than the Total price.
