Apply an internal reference to your itinerary

Apply an internal reference to your itinerary

Often tour operators wish to use an internal naming convention for their itineraries or keep track of the different proposal versions you’ve created for a client. Naturally, you won’t want to include these details in the itinerary title that shows to travelers on the final document. The Internal Reference field is designed with this purpose in mind.

When building an itinerary in Tourwrtiter, the first page you will interact with is the setup page. Here there are a number of fields, including itinerary name and internal reference. Here’s the difference between these two fields:

  • Anyone you share the digital or PDF itinerary with (and don’t opt to hide the itinerary name in your visibility settings)
  • Suppliers as part of booking emails
